  • Drive along the Trans Israel Highway, with a security briefing en route, stopping at the community of Matan for an up-close view of the barrier and a look into the Palestinian village of Hable
  • Guided visit through Caesarea, including the Roman Theater, Hippodrome, Promenade and Palace, concluding at the remains of the Crusader City, exploring the relationship between Romans and Jews
  • Proceed to Nazareth with lunch on your own in the shuk
  • Visit the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth which commemorates the Angel Gabriel announcement to Mary that she would give birth to Jesus
  • Continue to Haifa
  • Ascend to the top of Mount Carmel for a view of the 19-layered Bahai Gardens with its Shrine of the Bab, High Court of Justice and magnificently manicured gardens, overlooking Haifa Bay
  • Special visit to the Leo Baeck School hosted by High School Principal Dafna Yakobovitch, including a special program with students and staff
  • Drive to Kibbutz Yehiam to the Malka Micro Brewery, for a quick beer tasting before continuing across the Galilee to Kibbutz HaGoshrim

  • Drive through the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem
  • Enter Jerusalem through the Eastern Gate

  • Getting to Know the Lay of the Land: The West Bank – Judea/Samaria and Jerusalem, en route with the Tour Educator, while taking part in a geopolitical drive along the Seam Zone between Israel and the Palestinian Authority
  • Visit Rawabi, the new Palestinian city north of Ramallah, for a glimpse at this unique project, a synthesis between private enterprise and public resources to create a new urban reality in Palestinian society and meet with developer Bashar el Masri
  • Our Hopes for a Palestinian State: visit to Ramallah, current capital of the Palestinian Authority and meet with Palestinian entrepreneurs, officials or both
  • Why I Make My Home in Judea and Samaria: visit the settlement of Psagot for a dialogue with representatives of various settlements to hear about their lives and their plans, with lunch
  • Return to Jerusalem
  • Wrap up discussion for the day
    • It is possible to omit one of the places above (Rawabi, Ramallah or Psagot) and to go to Shorashim instead.  This would allow visiting both the southern and northern West Bank – Judea and Samaria.
